Referral Fees

Referral of conveyancing, survey & mortgage advice services

Where Davis & Lund refer you to a third party to deal with the transfer of a legal title, a third party surveyor or Mortgage Advice Bureau to provide mortgage or protection advice Davis & Lund reserves the right to claim a reasonable fee or commission in respect of such service which will be charged to the third party.

In respect of conveyancing the commission should not exceed £250 per case, and in respect of Mortgage Advice Bureau the fee or commission varies for each individual case, but on average are about £250. The referral fee from our conveyancing partners is not gifted to us. It is used as a contribution to the level of work our staff undertake for each property transaction

We may also receive introductory fees from Boomin.com where customers to that site have made their registration through Davis & Lund’s associated links.  Boomin introductory fees are yet to be advised.

We receive £25 per referral for introducing to surveyors.

Energy Performance Certificates

Where Davis & Lund refers you to an Energy Performance Certificate provider or provides the EPC directly to you (through a third party provider), we reserve the right to claim a reasonable fee or commission in respect of such service which will be charged to the EPC provider. That fee or commission will not exceed £50 per EPC.

Trade Contractors

Where Davis & Lund arranges work on a property, we reserve the right to charge a fee for arranging and overseeing the work.  On average this does not exceed £50 but may be up to 10% of the cost of the work.

Commission may be paid to our staff for introducing to our partners, but with any quotations, there is no obligation to use our recommendations.
